Would You Know What to Do in a Pet Emergency?
Your pet depends on you when every second counts. Join us on Wednesday, November 11, at 1:00 PM in Fellowship Hall for a free Pet First Aid and CPR class designed for dog and cat owners.
Led by Dr. Alexandria Young, this informative, hands-on presentation will teach you practical skills that could help save your pet’s life while you seek veterinary care. You’ll learn how to perform CPR, respond to choking emergencies, control bleeding, recognize and react to poisoning, check your pet’s vital signs, and handle common Arizona hazards such as snake bites, poisonous toads, spiders, and extreme summer heat.
While emergency veterinary care is always the first priority, knowing what to do in those critical first moments can make all the difference. Whether you’re a lifelong pet owner or have recently welcomed a new furry family member, you’ll leave with greater confidence and valuable knowledge to help protect your beloved companion.
This class is free and open to the public. Bring your questions and learn how to be prepared for the unexpected.
